What does “All Natural” dog food mean?
Do you tend to buy dog food products that say “Natural” on the label?

The FDA has long refused to define the word “natural” but this may be as close as they are going to get and this is the reason for this article.
You just might be buying the same crummy dog food you’ve always bought except you think it’s better because you associate the word natural as being something that has been naturally grown without pesticides. The FDA will not define the word “natural” except to say that “A natural flavor is defined as a substance extracted, distilled or otherwise derived from plant or animal matter, either directly from the matter itself or after it has been roasted, heated or fermented”.
Oh yummy, animal matter! For all intents and purposes that could mean whatever is is the intestines is also “natural” but I wouldn’t want to eat it!
If you read the first sentence it is telling you that “natural” means just about anything. What is Animal Matter? That could mean any animal matter. And it includes chicken feathers, chicken guts, and any part of an animal that no one wants to eat.
When a dog food product says “It’s completely natural”, the advertiser wants you to believe that it is something special. “It’s all natural and good for your dog.” Which basically says nothing except we’re trying to get you to believe it’s organic and healthy.
So if you see “natural” on the label remember that means nothing and it’s your cue to look at the ingredients.
Dog food companies have long used this word to describe their food so that you think it’s better than all the rest. Out of the hundreds of dog foods out there, there are very few that are actually good for your dog. And I’ve found at least 6 of them and I list them on my website.

New dog food has allergies cured
My dog has always had dog food allergies.
I tried 7 different brands, using their money back guarantee and finally hit upon this reat food called Innova.
This is not a plug for Innova but it did do my dog lots of good and ranks very highly among dog kibble producers. I also tried the wet food but I’ll reserve judgement on that for a later day.
My dog has a new allergy and it’s untreatable so far
I have two West Highland White Terriers and my female dog is 8 years old and has never had allergies until now. Somehow she has gotten a skin allergy that nothing will help. I’ve taken her into my vet four times and four times he has prescribed antibiotics. Each time the antibiotics have made the scabby sores, that have developed all over her body except her head, go away. As soon as the antibiotics are stopped the sores come back. I don’t know why the antibiotics help her to get better and then when they are stopped her condition comes back.
I’m at my wits end. My vet says it must be a food allergy but she has always been on Hills Prescription Diet because my other dog is on it. It just seemed easier to feed both of them the same food.
Now my vet is telling me to go to a skin specialist to find out what is wrong with my dog. Am I getting the run around? I have spent litterally thousands of dollars on allergy food, medications and vet visits. Now I have to go to a specialist? What’s that going to cost me?
How many people are in my position and where can I find some help? If anyone knows where/what kind of doctor I should go to please share it with me. I’m literally at my wits end with these problems.

Today I got this e-mail and although I haven’t lost a dog I wanted to warn others about this total jerk who is preying on people who have lost their pet. Personally I’d like the FBI or police or anybody to stop this person and have hotmail, prodidgy, gmail and yahoo take action.

I looked at the headers and this e-mail went through all these e-mail service providers, obviously someone who can cover their tracks and is a hacker, to get to me.
Here is the e-mail I got today and I hope if any of you see this you will not contact this person but your internet service provider because this is just plain cruel and these people will probably want a reward or some kind of money sent and believe me they do not have your pet, dog or cat. I would also like some comments from programmers as to what this scam is all about. I’d like some ideas because it also may just be a way to get your valid e-mail address and that is bad enough. I’d also like to say that the e-mail addresses you see below may or may not belong to people who are involved with this. In fact I rather doubt that these lying sob’s would use their own e-mail addresses.
